Dublin Port is one of Ireland’s main ports and a vital gateway for international trade. Maintaining accessibility is essential to its operations. Our backhoe dredger Magnor is deepening and widening selected berth pockets, dredging approximately 140,000 cubic meters of material.
Delivered through our Irish home-market organization Irish Dredging Company Limited, this work marks our second capital dredging campaign in Dublin. Last year’s campaign involved our trailing suction hopper dredger Shoalway and a smaller local backhoe dredger. A third campaign is scheduled for next year.
