Boskalis has revealed that all the pin piles for the 589MW Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm have now been installed in Taiwan.
Its crane vessel Bokalift 1 installed the last 70-metre-long pin pile for the Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners majority-owned offshore wind farm.
In the past three months, as many as 108 pin piles were installed, Boskalis said.
The Bokalift 1 is also installing the jackets, assisted by Boskalis’ heavy transport vessel Mighty Servant 3, which is transporting the turbine foundations from Taipei to the wind farm.
During the installation of the jackets, construction support vessels BOKA Atlantic and BOKA Tiamat will provide essential supporting activities.
