General information
- The structure of the conference will be highly participatory, as we desire input from all stakeholders involved.
- At the event, we will discuss:
- – our cohesive narrative of what blue tech is,
- – how bluetech can boost Maryland’s economy,
- – why Maryland is uniquely positioned to be one of the top three regional blue tech clusters of the country,
- We will also:
- – showcase current activities that support that claim, including highlighting exciting innovative companies accomplishing bluetech breakthroughs in Maryland,
- – engage investors and entrepreneurs interested in participating in the BluetechMaryland movement,
- – announce a partnership with two prominent blue tech innovation clusters groups and
- – disseminate our action plan.
- Before and after the event, we will provide wraparound pre- and post- event services to help organizations of all kinds to better understand existing resources and infrastructure. We will have activities and materials to increase understanding of BlueTechMaryland’s overarching goal to bolster the local economy, and communicate why Maryland’s with its resources and infrastructure is well-positioned to take on a leading role in this industry.
