Notification in accordance with the Finnish Securities Market Act Chapter 9 § 10: BlackRock, Inc.’s holding in Wärtsilä Corporation
Wärtsilä Corporation has received a notification under Chapter 9, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Market Act (FSMA). The reason for the notification by BlackRock, Inc. is the Group restructure following the acquisition of Global Infrastructure Management LLC (“GIP”) on 1 October 2024. The aggregate holdings including financial instruments owned by BlackRock, Inc. and the entities referred to above amounts to 5.49% of the total number of shares and voting rights of Wärtsilä Corporation. The share stock of Wärtsilä Corporation consists of 591,723,390 shares, each entitling one vote.
