All American Marine has landed a major contract to build a 68-foot boat for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The contract is for more than $4 million to build the aluminum catamaran survey vessel with a delivery date of March 2017, said Matt Mullett, president and CEO of All American Marine. The vessel will perform survey missions and some dive operations in support of dredging worked planned with the Corps’ Philadelphia district, according to a news release. The new vessel will replace an aging survey boat called Shuman.

All American Marine recently finished building a similar 62-foot survey boat for the USACE Jacksonville District, the Florida II.
