The dredge pumping sand onto Strathmere’s beaches left for
Township engineer Paul Dietrich said Friday, June 19 that the dredge has completed all of the beach fill on the northern end of Strathmere, including the state park area at the northern tip that was severely eroded last summer. Around 1 million cubic yards of sand have been pumped onto beaches so far, he said.
