Town officials are preparing for an upcoming beach project managed by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Officials say beginning December 14th, the Town will close the beach access and public parking lot at the end of Ocean Blvd for approximately 6 weeks so Marinex Construction, Inc. can set up equipment and stage piping for the Beach Re-Nourishment Project. They say Marinex will install pipes running from Ocean Blvd. in Carolina Beach south to Kure Beach.
