Presque Isle State Park will experience some bay dredging work this summer.
During a Presque Isle Advisory Committee meeting, committee member Jerry Covert discussed the plan for the Corps of Engineers to dredge the bay this summer.
The process is expected to begin any time this summer, starting as soon as June 6th.
The park will need to test more samples of water this summer to ensure its safe while crews are digging up the sand.
