The U.S. Army has awarded a five-year, $90 million firm-fixed-price contract under which Benaka, H.V. Collins, J&J Contractors, P&S Construction, Structural Associates Inc. and Tantara Associates will compete for individual order of general construction work in Massachusetts.
Each order will determine specific work location, which is within the New England District of the Army Corps of Engineers, and funding, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The six contractors are expected to complete construction work by May 13, 2026. They were selected from 21 bids received as part of an online solicitation launched by USACE.
The New England District oversees USACE’s civil works and military programs in the region covering the six New England states east of the Lake Champlain drainage basin.
Flood damage reduction, disaster assistance, environmental restoration and stewardship, engineering and construction management support to other agencies are some of its mission areas.
