MTS Scholarship Program
Each year, MTS awards funding to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students who are accepted into or enrolled in full-time marine-related programs, with a focus on marine technology, marine engineering, or marine science. Learn more and apply!
Scholarships Available to MTS Student Members:
- MTS Rising College Scholarship – $2,500
- John C. Bajus Scholarship – $1,000
- Dieter Family Scholarship – Up to $1,500
- The Paros-Digiquartz Scholarship – $2,000
- Charles H. Bussmann Undergraduate Scholarship – $2,500
- Charles H. Bussmann Graduate Scholarship – $2,500
- MTS ROV Committee Scholarship – $5,000
Eligibility for Scholarships:
To be considered, applicants must be active members of MTS, with student membership available for $25 per year. Additionally, applicants must be at the high school senior-level or full-time graduate or undergraduate students currently enrolled in or accepted into in a 2-year or 4-year marine studies program at an accredited college, university, or technical institution. Requirements & Evaluation Criteria:
All applicants are required to submit ONE letter of recommendation. Each scholarship has a different set of criteria. Please review the criteria for the scholarship to which you are applying and visit the scholarships page for more information.
How to Apply:
Complete the MTS Scholarship Form. Applications for the scholarships are streamlined into a single form, allowing you to apply for multiple opportunities at once.
Scholarship applications are due on March 23, 2026.
