APM Terminals Maasvlakte II B.V. has welcomed the heavy lift ship Zhen Hua, which has delivered their new mega deep-sea cranes! This is a milestone of which they are truly proud.

Seeing these impressive cranes arrive suddenly makes the expansion of their terminal a tangible reality. This is where months of preparation, collaboration, and dedication come together. Together, they are taking a big step forward and continuing to build a terminal that’s ready for the future.

These state‑of‑the‑art, next‑generation ZPMC cranes will be deployed as part of the expansion of the Amaliahaven, boosting operational capacity and supporting the latest‑generation deep‑sea container vessels calling at the port. Their arrival contributes to an even more efficient, resilient and future‑ready logistics chain, further strengthening Rotterdam’s position as Europe’s leading container hub.
