The World Trade Center Institute will be hosting its annual State of the Ports & Embassy Wine Tasting event on Dec. 6th at the World Trade Center in Baltimore, Maryland. This highly anticipated event brings together international trade leaders from across the Mid-Atlantic to discuss the exciting developments at two of the biggest economic drivers in the region – The Port of Baltimore and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
This year’s featured speakers include the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Transportation Paul Wiedefeld and Ports America Chesapeake’s Vice President & General Manager Mark Schmidt.
The evening includes two breakout sessions featuring panel discussions that tackle the most pressing issues of the day. This year’s panel topics include Navigating the Complexities of Global Supply Chainshosted by Nexterus the supply chain and logistics partner, and Harnessing Maryland’s Wind Energy Opportunities hosted by law firm Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP.
The event concludes with a networking reception and the crowd-pleasing Embassy Wine Tasting, featuring wines and representatives from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Portugal, Japan, and Argentina.
The State of the Ports is the premiere event to learn about the Mid-Atlantic’s bustling economy and preview the months and years ahead from those directly involved. In-person tickets are currently available, but act fast, this event always sells out.
