Windcat, an offshore wind crew transfer company, has enlisted Anglo-Eastern to supply management services for its six new Elevation Series Commissioning Service Operation vessels (CSOVs).
The vessels will now enter Anglo-Eastern’s technical and crew management as soon as they are delivered to Windcat, adding to the existing agreement for the management company to oversee their construction.

The hydrogen dual-fuel CSOVs have been developed in collaboration with Damen Shipyards and CMB.TECH and are being constructed at Ha Long Shipyard in Vietnam, with deliveries expected from 2025.
The 87m long vessels are the first of their kind to be built with hydrogen-propulsion technology and will be capable of sustaining a 90-strong crew of offshore wind technicians at sea for up to 30 days.

The contract furthers Anglo-Eastern’s interest in managing sustainably fuelled fleets after previously working on ammonia and LNG-focussed projects.
