ACOPNE welcomes Lori Brownell, P.E., D. NE as a new member of the ACOPNE Board of Trustees

ACOPNE welcomes Lori Brownell, P.E., D. NE as a new member of the ACOPNE Board of Trustees. Ms. Brownell will serve as the navigation engineering representative on the Board thru October 2023.

Currently, as Port Houston‘s Director of Channel Improvement, Ms. Brownell leads the team to focus on the next generation of widening and deepening improvements to the Port Houston’s 52-mile channel and acts a key interface with the #USACE and strategic advisor to Port Houston’s executive management. Prior to joining Port Houston in September 2019, Ms. Brownell served as the director of Taylor Engineering waterfront engineering group and provided 20-years of planning, design, and construction administration service for waterfront, marine, and dredging-focused projects in the southeastern U.S. Ms. Brownell has been an active #ASCE member and is Past-President of COPRI – Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute .
