Exciting update on dredging at VOC port !
About 35% of dredging has been completed in-front of North Cargo Berth-3, and is likely to be completed by 30.04.2025.
On completion, 14.20 metre draft shall be made available and cargo handling activity shall commence with harbour mobile cranes, from May 2025 at North Cargo Berth -3.
Port will also reclaim land to a tune of 12.5 hectares that can effectively be used for cargo storage, turning waste to wealth.
