Vandaag is op de Nam Trieu Shipyard in Haiphong, Vietnam een belangrijke mijlpaal bereikt: de tewaterlating van onze 2.300 m³ sleephopperzuiger “Magdalena”.
Deze stap markeert een volgende fase in het bouwproces dat we samen met IHC realiseren.
Met de succesvolle lancering komt de Magdalena weer een stuk dichter bij haar inzet op projecten wereldwijd. In de tweede helft van 2026 zal het schip officieel in de vaart komen.
Trots op het team en de samenwerking die dit mogelijk maakt.
Today we reached an important milestone at the Nam Trieu Shipyard in Haiphong Vietnam: the launch of our 2,300 m³ trailing suction hopper dredger “Magdalena.”
This marks the next phase in the construction process, carried out in close cooperation with IHC.
With the successful launch, the Magdalena moves one step closer to deployment on projects worldwide. The vessel is scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2026.
