GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Western Dredging Association is conducting its annual meeting from November 17-19, 2021 at the Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel and Spa in Mobile, AL. The meeting will provide a forum for exchanging information of interest to the dredging industry and its associates. Representatives from all areas of the industry, including regulatory, resource agencies, contracting, and manufacturing, will attend to discuss dredging economics, benefits, technologies, and current issues. Professional Development Hours (PDHs) certificates will be available for this meeting.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:  
The Gulf Coast Chapter Board will send out the first call for abstracts around the 3rd week of April.

TENTATIVE AGENDA 

• Wednesday (11/17/21) afternoon will start the program with a golf outing, followed by an Ice Breaker from 6-9 PM.
• Thursday (11/18/21)agenda will consist of technical presentations and a luncheon program that will allow members to meet with USACE district representatives on a one-on-one basis. We are anticipating that our reception will be at the Maritime Museum. More details and sponsoring opportunities to come.
• Friday (11/19/21) will continue with a half-day of technical presentations and conclude with chapter business at about noon. This year will include voting in new officers and a new member of the chapter board. Additional details will be sent out soon

REGISTRATION:
Online registration will be distributed via email and posted on the Gulf Coast Chapter web page once available.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
Opportunities will be sent out in the coming weeks. We will develop different ways for members to promote themselves and select different items/events to support and allow the sponsors to show their wares.
