Royal IHC has secured a contract from Malaysian floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) provider Yinson to supply a tandem mooring and offloading system and a riser pull-in system for the Anna Nery FPSO.
The FPSO will be installed on Petrobras’ Marlim oil field, which is located 150km offshore the Brazilian coast, in water depths of 930m.
Anna Nery FPSO will be capable of processing 70,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil and 4 million cubic metres per day (Mmcm/d) of gas.
Production is scheduled to start between 2022 and 2023 and the FPSO will stay at the location for a period of 25 years.
Royal IHC said that the offloading and riser pull-in system is designed to minimise the space needed on board for storage.
The company is expected to deliver the systems next year.
Royal IHC Offshore executive director Andre Merlino said: “We are proud to have been awarded this contract by Yinson for this significant project.
