After 33 remarkable years in the dredging industry, Rose Koenig, Director of Operations for DSC’s Greenbush, Michigan facility retired today. Koenig embarked on her career in the 1980’s when she began working for W&S and shared her expertise for 19 years. She later joined the DSC family after W&S was acquired by the international dredge manufacturer. After 14 years of invaluable contributions, Rose will be greatly missed by everyone. Her attention to detail, while keeping the broader picture in mind, has been vital over the years.
Bob Wetta, DSC President and CEO stated, “We are proud to recognize Rose for her commitment and hard work. She has been a key contributor over the years not just to our Greenbush operations but DSC’s overall global impact.” Fellow owner Bill Wetta, Senior Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer added, “DSC is simply a better company because of Rose; her decisive leadership, and experience was well respected and leaves an incredible impact. We wish her all the best in her new journey.”
